GoSun Flow Solar Water Travel Filter + 12V Pump

The GoSun Flow is a solar-powered portable water purifier and sanitisation system that’s small enough to fit in a backpack. It uses solar energy to filter 99.99% of pathogens, including viruses and bacteria, from water, pumping 1 litre of clean water per minute. It can function as a portable hand-washing station or hot shower and a source of clean drinking water from any stream, river, lake or pond.

In its basic form, the GoSun Flow is designed to pump water from a contaminated source, filter it and discharge purified water on the other side. However, it can be modified depending on the situation. For example, the user can remove the filter module and connect it to a water bag or bottle. When pressure is then applied, water is pumped through a filter that acts as a cleaning straw. The GoSun Flow is the world's first portable solar water purification and sanitation system.

How it works

The premium three-stage cartridge filter removes 99.99% of pathogens, viruses and bacteria. First, the polypropylene filter disc removes large particles such as dirt, rust and sand. Then, the highly effective carbon filter absorbs dangerous chemicals and heavy metals. Finally, the nano-aluminium fibre filter creates an electropositive charge in the fibre maze that traps and kills the smallest particles and organisms in your water.

Best of all, the filter lasts for 1,000 litres of filtration and is easy to replace.

Starting Flow is simple. Simply place the suction hose into any water source (except salt water), connect the pump, which will automatically start filtering the water.

The solar panel inside charges an 18.5 Wh power bank, which powers a pump capable of filtering around one litre of liquid per minute. The pump pushes untreated water through a three-stage cartridge filter, which then delivers clean drinking water from the other side. If the intensity of sunlight is too low to power the Flow with sunlight, the pump can be powered by alternative means via USB.
